ASP is still looking for nominations for the Sec. /Treas. position. My term is up Dec 31, 2021, and we need someone who is willing to take on this position. You may nominate yourself or someone else by sending the name of that person to the Nominating & Teller's Committee chairperson, Christina Anaya (canaya4@unl.edu).
The position is for 3 years with the possibility of a 3-year extension. Please let Christina know if you feel someone you know (or yourself) would be a good candidate as soon as possible. If you would like more information about what is required, you can go to the ASP website (amsocparasit.org) and click on the "About Us" tab. Under that you will find another tab of "ASP Documents" that will include the ASP Handbook. There you will find the duties of the Sec./Treas. position.
